Pacific Place opens new Bookstore and Art Gallery

On October 17, Pacific Place celebrated the Grand Opening of Pudd'nhead Books and the Old Orchard Gallery. The opening was well attended as guests enjoyed a fascinating collection of prints, models and costumes entitled "Historical and Memorable Moments in Webster". The exhibit was made possible through the support of Webster University, the Repertory Theatre, the Webster Kirkwood Times, the City of Webster Groves, the Webster Groves Historical Society, US Bank, Nerinx Hall and the Sisters of Loretto. The exhibit featured images selected from the collections of each organization, that had never been exhibited in one combined showing.

On November 2nd and 3rd, the Gallery featured
6 local Webster Groves Artists, as a part of the 63119 Art Walk.

Pudd'nhead Books offers an exciting and lively inventory of over 9,000 books in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Kick back with a fresh cup of your favorite coffee brew, and enjoy the many colorful and educational pages that are waiting for you. The Bookstore flows directly into the Gallery and then opens out onto the Big Sky Cafe Wine Garden.

Explore a table full of books on the characters portrayed in this year's Repertory Theatre performances, dig much deeper into the people who manage our government, or bring some young people with you to browse the childrens section.

Take a moment to explore Pudd'nhead Books and the Old Orchard Gallery on your next trip to Webster Groves, and be sure to stop by Pacific Place to say hello.
